Manufacturer
and Supplier of 3 Way Ball Valve in stainless steel.
The design of 3 way ball valve is
such that it is constructed with a hole that goes right
through the middle, and the hole is in the shape of a T
or an L. Ports of any pair can be connected in the
T-valve, or alternatively, all three together. However,
the position at 45 degrees that may disconnects all the
ports would leave no tolerance for error. Connection to
the port in the center from either side port is possible
with the L-valve, or alternatively it can disconnect all
ports. However, connecting together to the side ports is
not possible.

3 or 4 way ball valves are known as
multi-port valves, and they are available commercially.
The outlets are usually in a plane that is orthogonal to
the inlet. Generally, designs in the form of single, two
or three piece construction are common in ball valves up
to two inch in size. Ball valves of single piece
construction are reduced bore and the price is
inexpensive compared to other designs. One-piece ball
valves are generally disposal. Ball valves of two piece
designs are typically of slight reduced bore. These
valves can be maintained and repaired, or they can also
be disposable after a certain service life. In the case
of the design of the 3 piece valve, removal from the
connecting pipeline of the ball, seats and stem which
are located in the valve center is facilitated.
Maintenance and cleaning is allowed for the removal of
sediment deposition as well as for the removal and
reinstallation of gland packing and seats. Minor
scratches can also be polished out on the ball, and all
these service and maintenance can be completed
efficiently without having to disconnect the body of the
valve from the pipes. The major consideration in the
construction of the three piece valve is the allowing
for repairs to be undertaken.
The design of the four way ball
valve, which is used in the control of fluid flow, is
such that it is typified by having four ports around the
chamber of the valve. The ports in the body are
positioned equally. Ports on adjacent sides are
connected by two passages in the plug. The shape of the
plug can be in the form off a ball, or it can also be
tapered or cylindrical. There are two flow pathways, and
typically a position in the middle where the ports are
all closed. The four way valve enables a sampling
cylinder to be bypassed and isolated at the same time
along a pipeline that is pressurised. The hydraulic
pressure within the water line remains constant and is
not affected by the extraction of fluid sample. Leakage
or the loss of gas is also avoided, and the entry of air
and contamination from the outside is also prevented.
